We headed out early this morning to Luminary Church for Keira's first t-ball game. Brock stayed home with Grammie. She has loved practice this past week, but got nervous when she saw so many poeple and felt uncomfortable. Keira is very backwards when it comes to new situations and doesn't easily adjust. I had to sit with her on the bench and ended up out in the field also. She also wasn't swinging the bat very hard, like she does at home. I really believe she was embarrased for so many different peole to be watching her. We did survive the first game and she told me this evening she does want to play. However, we will miss next weekend due to being out of town.
She fielded the ball and instead of throwing it, the kids run to the infield and raise it up. Can you see Papaw Ronnie holding his hand up in the first pic? He is in the blue shirt. I have a feeling she is going to have several sideline coaches. HA!! Kinda looks like Mamaw Peggy is holding her hand up also.
