New room decor for Keira

Keira's new bedding! We love it!!
I am now a huge fan of wall appliques! This is the way to go. Previously, we had the Disney Princess theme in her room and I was over it. So, we got new bedding and then I decided to look at wall appliques. Wonderful!! You can re-position them and re-use them, no problems. Keira decided she wanted Tinkerbell. It turned out really cute! This way, we can keep her bedding when she is over the Tinkerbell phase and just buy new appliques instead of having to redo everything.

Thanksgiving

Keira was a pilgrim at pre-school. They made hats and the teacher had made collars for them also, but those stay with the teacher. She enjoyed her party at school! The 3yr olds dressed as Indians and both classes played games, exchanged gifts, and learned the history of Thanksgiving. They also had a Thanksgiving meal for lunch. Yes, she is wearing her bathing suit in the above pic. My kids run around the house in their swimsuits often.
I only took a few pics of the kids and not any family pics!

First Deer

Brandon has decided to start deer hunting with his dad. The first time he goes out, he gets a deer! His dad and Stanley, came home empty handed. This cannot happen in the Leffew family. So, Monday morning, Brandon goes to work and Ronnie and Stanley go back to the woods. Stanley gets one, but not Ronnie. Uh-oh!! Game on!!
Now, both kids want to go hunting.

Dollywood

This was a great photo opp, but of course, neither kid wanted to pose! Yes, I am a little behind and out of order with my posts, my birthday post should have went before the Cades Cove post, oh well. Life is like that sometimes, out of order! Here at the Looney Leffew's it is at times. I have more pics of cades cove, but am not going to post them. I wish I had more time to sit and play in Photoshop, but who has that much extra time? So, mostly you see my uneditied versions. This is Dollywood and boy did we have fun. The kids got cranky around 3, Brock missed his nap, and Keira was just tired. But, they so enjoyed it.
Keira and Brock both won these toys playing some toss a ball game. They were so proud! Mommy won them basketballs earlier, but this was special.
Mamaw and I had to take a ride with the kids. Neither one of us like heights and the kids were trying to rock in the seat, lean forward and look over the rail, causing more anxiety for us. These 2 surprised me wanting to ride some the rides. I really thought Keira would be more apprehensive with some rides, but she wasn't. She did have a meltdown at the bumper cars, when she learned she couldn't drive, that I would be driving. We were finding a car and the lady told us I had to drive. We promptly found the exit as Keira was in tears and no longer wanted to ride! Brock had a meltdown on the rollercaoster because he had to be measured to make sure he could ride, he was not happy and was trying to run to the coaster and get a seat before she could measure him. Thankfully, he was tall enough to ride!

more Dollywood

Driving the cars was a huge hit with the kids! We each had to take turns letting them "drive." I tried one time with Brock to turn the wheel, and he said " No, me drive"
Keira told me "I am a good driver, mom" Won't the teen yrs be fun behind the wheel, if they already think this way?
We had a great day and the kids loved it! I think we are going to have to invest in season passes now that Brock is big enough to ride.
