Keira's 5th birthday party

Keira will be 5 on July 27th. We had a spa party at our house this past sat. 12 girls came and helped us celebrate by having their hair, make-up, nails, and jewelry done. We had a blast!! All the girls are so sweet and they seemed to enjoy all the pampering. Keira was so thrilled with everything. I can't say enough about my family that helped out, without them, this party wouldn't have been possible. They gave up a Saturday to come and help us out. We are so blessed!! So many good memories of this party and I hope Keira never forgets it.
The cake was beautiful. Holly Woodlee made it and it tasted wondeful also. She is awesome!!

Outside Fun

I have found some of the best times we have as a family are simply playing together outside. The kids love being out and we have played baseball, frisbee, and other games. Of course, it has been so hot out, we often stay in the a/c unless we are in water.

Music Camp

Keira was able to attend a music theater camp at Morrison Hill Church one week in July. On Friday evening, they performed "God's Top Ten", which was wonderful. I think 26 kids attended camp and they all did a great job! Keira loves music and singing and she was super excited about performing. We got tickled during the show because she was so loud. I was so proud seeing her on stage, quite a change in the past year.
Brock was good until the last couple songs and he got restless. Above, you see him messing up Mamaw's hair. I just sat back and laughed watching this take place. Brandon was filming and I was taking pictures in the back. Can't wait to see what little man will do on stage.

July 4th 2010

What a great 4th of July!! We began the day at church and had a great sermon about our nation and Christian foundation. Yes, our nation was founded on Christianity, as bad as so many people want to omit this from the history books. After church, we went to Uncle Wade and Aunt Pam's to swim, boat, jet ski, etc. It was a great day of fun, food, and family. The kids had a blast. We stayed out till 10:30, which is very late for my kids. Doesn't happen often, but they loved it!! Hope everyone had a great 4th!!

Sat. we spent most of the day at my uncle and aunt's house having fun. The kids played in the water, took a boat ride, and just enjoyed family time. As soon as we got in the car, they both went to sleep.

Fun at home

We always do a few small fireworks at home. The kids LOVE smoke bombs for some reason, not me so much. They want to run through the smoke and love the different colors. We got fireworks the weekend before the 4th and did fireworks every night leading up to July 4th, except one night.
