Mother's Day

We started off Mother's Day at church and today was Baby Dedication. Even though we did this last year, we asked to re-dedicate Brock, since last year at this time was not a pleasant experience for our family and our present church family. I wanted to do this again under better circumstances and in a church that is following God's Word and under peaceful conditions. It was a wonderful morning in church and our pastor preached a sermon that really showed us mothers what we should be doing and why. Raising children has nothing to do with us, and we are selfish if we think this way. I have failed so much in the 4 yrs that I have been a mother and have so much to improve on. After church we went to Papaw and Mamaws and enjoyed a great day. The kids rode in the car and Brock is just happy being the passenger and letting Keira boss him around. They rode over to Uncle Tim and Aunt She-She's and saw the chickens and the horses. After nap time, since we didn't have evening service, we went to visit my mom and the kids had a ball at her house.
I hope Keira is always her brothers protector.
Sweet babies! Is this a picture of what it may be like in 12 yrs? Except she will not be driving an Escalade. Photobucket
