Happy

Brock and Keira love each other so much! Brock looks up to his big sister and like any good little brother at this stage, "obeys" his sister's commands. It can be anything from when they are "cooking" to having him go fetch items for her. They love playing with each other and role play quite often. It is so comical at times to sit back and listen to their conversations. May they always be best friends!

Keira 2nd game

I absolutely love watching Keira play. When it is her turn to dribble down the court, you can see all over her face how much she enjoys doing this. Her dribbling has improved the past few weeks and she wants to practice at home.
Playing some defense!
Always a tough decision, who to pass the ball too?
Before her game yesterday, we talked about rebounding the ball, and she told us "I don't like to rebound, I might get hurt" She listens and follows exactly what her coaches tell her to do and tries hard. I am so proud of her. In her last game, she kept playing with her hair and was skipping down the court. It was funny!!

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We got to visit with all of our families and had so much fun each place we went. Even though we stay on the go and run from place to place, we wouldn't trade it for anything. We love our family time and cherish the moments together. Of course, we remember the whole reason for the season, Jesus, and I hope you and your family did also. But, we know Jesus is the reason for every season and everything, not just at Christmas.

Big Papaw and Brock. Eli thought he was getting a box of diapers. I had wrapped his gift in this box and then another box. It was funny watching him try and hide the box.
Madison and Eli playing with Brock.
Aunt Teresa with Keira. She started a tradition with the kids years ago that when they arrived, they go find her and she lets them open 1 gift before we eat, etc.

Keira's First Basketball Game

Keira had her very first game this past Saturday. She was so excited! Her team name is Tarheels. She is in the 4-6 yr old age group. I think she is the only 4yr old on her team. Only 2 girls on the team. She has only had 2 practices so far and loves it. Getting a practice shot in before the game begins. Keira had 19 fans to watch her play. Not kidding. We are so blessed to have such a supportive family on both sides. Her great-grandfather Duncan came and he was loved it. He said "This is better than watching high school" and he would know, he has attended so many in his life. Still goes to them.
Brandon got asked to run the clock. Brock was running around being silly, I think he was excited over all the family. I couldn't help but smile while watching my little girl play. She was so cute. She didn't touch the ball much, but still seemed to enjoy the game. The one time she got a rebound, her fan base erupted. Brandon was opposite all of us and he said it was so loud. LOL!! We all cheered her on and she was able to attempt one shot. Even though they don't keep score in this league, her team won 6-0. If you know me, you know I have to keep score. HA!! Can't help it, it is that competitive side. Plus, I wasn't the only Duncan keeping up with it, I heard some others saying it.

b-ball

I got tickled after observing that Keira only wanted to pass to the other girl on her team. I guess she figured since the boys wouldn't pass them the ball, she wouldn't pass the ball to them when it was her turn to dribble up the court.
The coach lets all the kids take turns bringing the ball up the court. They all get to play the different positions also. We really like her coach and she is so good with them.

Morrison Hill Preschool Christmas Play

Keira's preschool class put on a play last Thursday afternoon. She had the role of an angel. All the kid did a great job and it is always so sweet to watch kids this age perform.
