Keira surprised us and did this bungee jumping. I have video of it, but don't know how to post it, plus, it is dark. Chance was doing this and flipping, so she thought she would try it. At first, she told us she did not want to go high, but before long she was very high. Keira is my more hesitant and fearful child, while Brock is at everything full force. She also went down the waterslide at our indoor water park at the condo. This was shocking also. It was very high, fast, and enclosed the whole slide. Everyone had gone up to the room, while Keira and I stayed to swim. Oout of the blue she asks me to take her down it. We went and I wished I could have seen her face at the bottom. It scared her and she never asked again.

vacation
We met David, Kathern, and Chance (they happened to be at Myrtle Beach the same time) for dinner and then went to Broadway at the Beach to let the kids ride the rides. Keira and Chance rode several rides and Brandon rode the bigger, faster rides with Chance. Brock loves water and all my change was put into the fountain pool. Keira was being silly with her balloon.
More vacation
I love to see our footprints and how they change each time we go to the beach. We had a good time in the lazy river, but Brock would rather be on the go instead of smooth riding.
Keira has finally learned that arm floats are a good thing and that she has freedom with them on. At the end of summer, she finally used them and now loves it. She was all over the pools, but her favorite thing to do was jump off the sides.

Chickens
more chickens
Brock helping feed the chickens. A chicken was actually trying to lay an egg and Brock of course would have to interrupt the process, it is like whenever anyone here at home goes to the bathroom, guess who is right beside you - watching? HA! Ha!
Keira is a good helper and wanted to do everything Aunt She-She did.
Last weekend
We had a family cookout at my Granny Mullins house. The kids enjoyed playing with their cousins and seeing everyone. I took our bounce house and at first Keira pitched a fit not wanting me to set it up, b/c she did not want to share. Well, she isn't the boss, so it got put up and she had to deal with it. She got over her little fit and ended up playing with the other kids having a great time. We had a big fire for roasting hot dogs and smores. My kids only care about the chocolate part!! Evident by Brock's face.
Keira sitting with Grammie Em and Papaw Gary and little man capping off the night with a bath. We left well after bedtime, but it was worth it.

Kids first duck and crow call
Fun days
Keira made these elephant ears at school. They are learning the letter "E". She does not look happy here and proabably wasn't at the time. I simply wantd a pic of what she had made, but she never consents. My hard-headed child!! On wed evening the theme for Awanas was "Wacky night" so I dressed the kids mismatched and we did their hair up wacky. I couldn't get a better pic b/c they where fighting over hairbows as we were getting ready to leave. Brock was funny with his hair all spiked up everywhere and I pinned Keira's hair up in different places.

What this country needs...
As I was reading about some female celebrities slamming Gov. Palin and hearing other news reports about who our country needs to lead us as the next President, I couldn't help but think all our country needs is JESUS!!! No other man (or woman) can ever restore our land or keep us safe or set us free from all the calamities that seem to keep coming and are coming more frequently. Take a look around us - all the natural disasters, all the violence, all the financial troubles, etc. I cannot help but think all we need is JESUS! This ole world is going down the drain and the only thing that even remotely helps me to want to keep on keeping on is knowing that my Redeemer is coming back one day. Oh, what a day that will be when we see Jesus - the one who saved me by His grace. No more sorrow, no more pain, no more sickness, no more violence, no more tears. I am ready for His return, more than any other time in my life, I wish He would come this very minute. Especially as I look at the world around me and then look at my babies. I don't even want to imagine what they must endure as they get older. But Christians that read the Bible and know the outcome don't have to worry or be down about this life . We know how it ends and this life isn't our home. Heaven is our home and this is only temporary. I have been so worried lately about Obama winning the election, I even told Brandon we may have to move to another country, that I became so concerned with how this country will turn with Obama in charge, not that my confidence in McCain is that strong either, but I support McCain and Palin. I can in no way support Obama and frankly do not understand how any Christian can even think about voting for him. I have finally accepted the fact the no matter how the election turns out, God is in control and He put who chose for this position in office, and I trust My God more than anything in my life, and I will not question that desicion. As Scripture states God hold kings hearts in His hand and can turn them how he chooses. Not the exact wording of the verse, but you get the idea. Just another example of how we humans think we have control over an election and low and behold we don't. Who do we think we are?

Monday
We visited my grandparents today and Keira had to pack some of her things. One was this hat Brock is wearing. He loved it! He kept this on for quite sometime and was too funny! That is barbeque sauce on his face and shirt along with slobber. My grandmother seemed to like the hat too, he is so sweet giving her sugar and interacting with her. Then we went outside and Big Papaw let them play in the boat and Brock kept calling floaters "balls" so we ended up with 2 floaters to bring home.
Sunday afternoon
